I have painted quite a few murals for work - unfortunately I unwittingly infringed copyright so I can't show the images here. I was asked to do some 'Quentin Blake style Roald Dahl characters'. Well, as descriptions go you can't deviate too much from the original! Anyway, someone from the office came down and saw what I was doing 'I didn't realise they would look like Quentin Blake's drawings' they said and rushed off to find out if I was going to get sued. Luckily not - apparently Quentin Blake's office was contacted and he said 'as long as they're not bad' then it could be allowed. The fact therefore, that I was allowed to proceed was something of a compliment! (I should hastily add that this story does not mean that you can do a 'good' copy of someone else's work and get away with it...)

I also did some tree murals and picture frame murals which I was careful to ensure did not infringe copyright! I'll put pictures up soon...
